This assignment was fun to say the least. This way of taking pictures was totally new to me and the neon-ish effect was really cool to look at. Though the longest shutter speed I could use was 15 seconds and the only tools I had were a green laser pointer I managed to get some cool effects in photoshop.com by only tweaking color and balance a little bit. This project I tried to get some cool looking pictures, look at the pictures and tell me if you see a solar system, meteors, and angels who radiate light, I am curious to see whether or not anyone sees this or if it is just me trying futilely to get a cool photo.
This is my favorite picture from this project, I tries to get a solar system look with the green as orbit paths and a maglight as the "sun." the settings are as follows: shutter speed 15 seconds, ISO 100, aperture 5.6.
These light painting pictures are really good. The one I like the most in the slide show would be the 4th one. It has a person in the middle and the light is out on the sides of the person. It looks really nice.
ReplyDeleteI really like your lighting painting photos and you did a good job. But most of them don't have a person showing in them including your best photo; but overall most of your photos were good.
ReplyDeleteI like it, it is very cool but i think you should have more of a variety of colors in you pictures
ReplyDeleteI think these are without a doubt the best pictures I have ever seen.
ReplyDeleteI really liked your idea for the main picture, although I feel that the glare caused by the "sun" is a bit distracting.
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are really cool, except you might've wanted to use other colors or had more people in it. The glare from the maglight is kind of distracting too.
ReplyDeleteThe main picture is ok. I really like the 4th picture in your slide show. I feel the strokes are more appealing and makes the subject/whoevers making the light stand out.
ReplyDeleteI like the 4th picture you have best. I'm assuming it's of Caroline, and I like how she has the 6 arms! I couldn't figure how to do that myself, and if I were you I would have done the 4th picture as your #1. Very good photos overall though!
ReplyDeleteI really like this photo because the light painting has an amazing affect. I am not sure what the main part of the picture is though.
